With the exception of a few vintage pieces, all watches are complete with original boxes and papers. All watches listed for sale on this website are in stock and available for immediate delivery or collection. The indicated prices include all debit/credit card fees and UK postage. A 2% discounts is available for payment via Bank Transfer. All watches will be posted to your chosen destination via Royal Mail Special Delivery if within the UK or via Parcel Force within the EU. International shipping methods will vary depending on the Country and a flat rate of £100 will be added on checkout. Viewing of watches prior to purchase or collecting after payment is possible at our office in Whiteley, Hampshire. If viewing is not convenient then a 48 hour return policy is in effect from the point of delivery if the watch is not as expected. Part Exchange is always considered. However certain watches and brands may not be suitable. As a general rule, if your watch is something similar to the watches already on this website then there is a good chance that we will make an offer. Once a price has been agreed, either over the telephone or via email, then your watch will need to be posted to our office. The watch will then be checked and if it matches the description then payment will be made in either directing and your new watch will be posted to your chosen destination.
Credit card or debit card: All major debit and credit cards accepted. Payments will be processed by PayPal for maximum security. PayPal: Use your PayPal account to make fast and secure payments. Cash: We accept cash payment up to a maximum of £9,000.00. You will be asked to provide evidence of identity and proof of address for all cash payments of £2,000.00 or more. Cheque: Payable to ‘Swiss Watch Trader.’ Please allow up to 9 Working Days for funds to clear into our account. Bankers draft: Payable to ‘Swiss Watch Trader.’ All drafts will be authenticated by our bank before the goods are dispatched. Bank transfer: We accept payment by CHAPS, BACS, faster payment (same day) transfers or international transfers. We will advise you of our account details prior to accepting any order.
Deliveries within the UK are made using the Royal Mail's Special Delivery™ service. Deliveries outside the UK are made using either Royal Mail or Parcelforce - depending on the size of the package and the location. UK postage is included in the advertised price, international shipping is £100. Alternatively, please contact us before placing an order. A signature will be required for receipt of the goods by an adult (aged 18 years or over) at the delivery address (whether yourself or a member of your household). If no-one is available when the carrier attempts delivery, the carrier may leave a calling card for you to re-arrange delivery at a more convenient time. Alternatively, you may need to collect the Goods from your local delivery office provided you can produce adequate proof of identity. We will only deliver the to the delivery address given in your order. If you pay by debit/credit card or PayPal, the goods must be dispatched to the billing address of the card holder. However, if you require the goods to be delivered to a work address please ensure that this is included when placing the order. The delivery address can not be changed after an order has been made and payment received. Watches may be collected from our offices but by appointment only for security reasons.
We are more than happy to accept your watch in part exchange. A price will be agreed in principle and a contract will be sent via email with payment and delivery instructions. Once your watch arrives and confirmed to be in the condition described, the outstanding balance must be made prior to any goods being dispatched. Where your part exchange allowance exceeds the purchase price of the goods, we will issue you with the appropriate credit by bank transfer.
We provide a limited warranty with our pre-owned watches for a period of 12 months from the date of delivery. Our warranty doesn’t apply to new or nearly new watches which are typically covered by a third party manufacturer’s warranty. The warranty is limited to mechanical defects not caused by the owner/wearer. Accidental damage is not covered, nor are issues caused by mishandling, mistreatment or neglect. Water damage is not covered by the 12 month warranty.
